North of San Francisco: Muir & Stinson Beaches, the towering Redwoods of Muir Woods, the unspoiled Point Reyes National  Shoreline, and the coves and beachs of the Sonoma Coast.  South of San Francisco: the surfers at Santa Cruz, and the lighthouse at Pescadero. Inland, in the Sierra Nevada: the limestone cliffs and valleys of Yosemite  and its waterfalls and stands of Giant Sequoias!
